PAIN & SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT

Comfort-focused support when symptoms change.

Hospice symptom management is individualized to help reduce distress, support comfort, and give patients and families clearer guidance as needs evolve.

COMFORT IS PERSONAL

Good symptom support starts by listening carefully.

Pain is only one part of comfort. Patients may also experience shortness of breath, nausea, anxiety, restlessness, constipation, fatigue, sleep changes, or other symptoms related to serious illness.

The hospice team assesses what the patient is experiencing, communicates with the patient and family, and works within the plan of care to support relief and comfort.
