HOSPICE SERVICES

Compassionate support for comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Metro Medical Hospice coordinates individualized hospice services for patients and families facing life-limiting illness across Southern California. Care is built around the patient’s goals, changing needs, and preferred setting.

CARE THAT WORKS TOGETHER

Hospice is more than a single visit or service.

Hospice brings together clinical care, comfort-focused support, family education, practical assistance, and emotional guidance. Depending on the patient’s plan of care, the hospice team may coordinate nursing, physician oversight, symptom management, social services, spiritual support, hospice aides, medications related to the terminal diagnosis, medical equipment and supplies, respite support, and grief services.

The goal is to help the patient remain as comfortable as possible while giving families clearer guidance, dependable communication, and support as needs change.

WHOLE-PERSON SUPPORT

Care considers more than physical symptoms.

Every patient and family has different priorities. Hospice care can address physical comfort while also recognizing emotional, social, practical, and spiritual concerns. Services are coordinated through an individualized plan of care rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

  • Care guided by the patient’s goals, wishes, and comfort priorities
  • Education and support for family caregivers
  • Coordination among hospice team members and involved healthcare professionals
  • 24/7 on-call support for patients and families receiving care
  • Ongoing reassessment as symptoms and needs change
  • Support in the patient’s home or other appropriate care setting
